About Paul Mannion

Paul T. Mannion is a seasoned strategy professional and business development advisor. He has worked in the field of development and management consulting for over three decades. His knowledge and experience span multiple sectors, such as finance, marketing, and management. Paul has a stellar track record of aligning business goals with effective development procedures and conveying strategies to his clients. He has the diplomatic skills to negotiate successful mergers & acquisitions and maintains close relationships with C-level management throughout all phases of the m&a transaction cycle, from origination and due diligence to transaction execution.

In addition to consulting and strategic planning, Paul has a keen eye for spotting promising new ventures as a private investor. He sits on the board of multiple early-stage startups, leveraging his contact base and helping new CEOs traverse the waters towards growth and profitability. He also acts as a mentor and guide for upcoming young professionals whenever possible. 

Paul graduated from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond, majoring in Finance and Accounting. His post-graduate studies took place at the NYU Stern School of Business and the Georgia State School of Law. 

Paul began his career in the securities industry working on Wall Street. After working with Paine Webber, he gained further brokerage and investment banking experience with Oppenheimer & Co. Paul next moved to Atlanta, where he worked as a Branch Manager for Josephthal Lyon and Ross. He quickly moved up the ranks and became a Senior Vice President with JW Charles Securities’ Investment Banking Division, helping to raise over $ 200 million in closed transactions.

After Wachovia acquired JW Charles, Paul T. Mannion joined Union Atlantic Capital as President. After the firm merged with Street Capital Paul led the Investment Banking Division. Paul was instrumental in the origination, structuring, and funding of over 60 transactions of varying sizes, totaling over $500 million in closed deals during his tenure at Street Capitals.

Paul next became the Senior Vice President of Clearview Consulting, helping public and private small growth companies build their management teams, boards of directors, and sales strategies. Clearview services include designing, analyzing, and performing field research. They create programs, coach employees, and document the results. Paul T. Mannion also serves as Director of Business Development for Zoombang, a patented protective gear used in sports, as well as the medical, industrial, and tactical industries.
